Harvest and procurement
Harvesting is the most crucial stage in our production process. We professionally organize fruit collection to preserve its quality and protect our productive trees.
Our active harvest season begins in August, with the first pickings of pears grown in Armenian soil, nourished by fresh water.
In the excitement of the harvest season, the early "Williams" variety pears are harvested first, followed by the red and green "Conference" varieties in August and September.
Next, the "Lucas" pears are harvested, with the season concluding in October and November with the "November" pears.
Post-harvest, the fruits undergo an intricate process to ensure long-term storage without affecting their external appearance and flavor. To facilitate this, we are developing a modern refrigerating complex with a 7500-ton capacity equipped with an atmospheric regulation system.
